We are pleased to announce the appointment of Lucy Wagstaffe.  Lucy joins us having spent two years within the fresh produce industry following her graduation from University.

Lucy is joining to strengthen and support our growing base worldwide.  Her initial role will be to support our existing growing and supply chain, in terms of raising awareness to Customers on agronomy, variety selection and monitoring our overall crop quality.

August 2009 has seen the completion of a new high care packing facility.  the £250,000 investment in this new area allows A G Pearce to offer its current and potential customer base a range of high care packed products from 80g-5kg.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Peter George as a non shareholding Director of Alfred G Pearce Limited.  Peter joined the company five years ago as Frozen Products Manager and will now play a supporting role to Simon and Jonathan Pearce in the day to day management of the business.

September 2009 saw the appointment of Neil Spinks as Prepared Commercial Manager at our Wormegay factory site.  Neil has spent many years working locally within Agricultural and Allied Industries.

January has seen the completion of a £900,000.00 investment, replacing all production lines in our medium care, and for the first time the inclusion of multihhead weighers. This has now enabled us to increase factory capacity by 30% through faster and more efficient lines. All equipment was supplied by Finus of Holland and the project managed by Projx Services.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Katy Negus as Business and Product Development Manager.

This week saw the start of our French crop through our Prepared Factory.

On Thursday 28th February 2008 we attended the "Grower Of The Year Awards 2008" at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London.

We walked away with "Prepared Fresh Produce Grower Of The Year 2008" which was sponsored by Bakkavor and presented by Brian Walton of Bakkavor and BBC Presenter Hazel Irvine.

Our Carrots crops remain at good quality levels as we enter the last of Winter. We see no shortage or disruption in supplies until early June when we make our switch to our bespoke French crop.

Drilling commences this month for our June/July early UK crops

December 2007 saw James Bailey joing the Prepared factory team as Production Manager. James has spent many years working locally within the food manufacturing industry.
