The Telegraph 1000: Britains Brightest Businesses - Alfred G Pearce

Alfred G Pearce have been listed in the Telegraph 1000 article, published on Sunday September 11th.  They have been chosen as one of 'Britain's Brightest Businesses' within Food and Agriculture.  Complied with the help of NESTA, the innovation agency which identified fast-growing companies and business information specialist Dun & Bradstreet, they identified 1000 Private and Alternative Investment Market-listed companies with sales of between £5m and £500m which have all shown resilience during the recession and stuttering recovery and which are set to be the foundation of the UK's recovery.

 

New Appointment: Jack Pearce

We are pleased to announce that Jack Pearce, son of Simon Pearce will be joining the company in September 2011. As a Graduate of Business and Marketing at Newcastle University, Jack will be developing a range of locally sourced products to be marketed to local food service, restaurant and the hotel trade. Jack is a water sports enthusiast and keen amateur cook and recently became a finalist in ITV’s ‘Britains Best Dish’ where he championed Norfolk Beef and Produce.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Lucy Wagstaffe.  Lucy joins us having spent two years within the fresh produce industry following her graduation from University.

Lucy is joining to strengthen and support our growing base worldwide.  Her initial role will be to support our existing growing and supply chain, in terms of raising awareness to Customers on agronomy, variety selection and monitoring our overall crop quality.
